J's Space…. Bits n Pieces for Life!

I guess the most important part of a holiday is just as much who you go with as where you go...I reckon, there's very little to beat great company, good wine and a great setting, we were in Swaziland to do some mountain biking, but I think its the socialising that happened after (or between) that was the most precious aspect of the trip, and damn the wine was good, and the view of the valley from the porch wasn't too shabby either, lucky me I guess...

Hi, I guess the photo was pretty much a precursor to the title of the mail, just going with the flow as they say, although that's not me, not when it comes to the stuff that counts, but on a superficial, fun level it'll suite me fine. Though to be quite frank thoughts, thinking, considering, wondering etc. is something we do just too damn much, we don't do enough, we always want to think things through, wonder how it'll will affect others, and I'm not saying that its wrong to be considerate, that's cool, but when we start defining ourselves not by what we do but by what others may or may not think of us, well then we're missing the boat so to speak. And, unfortunately that's exactly what we do, more and more. Like this guy or metal mind as I call him, one can see that he obviously takes his time, thinking things through ad naseum , deep in thought is a given with him, the difference being he hasn't got any choice, he's sorta permanently consume...

I assure you the link is absolutely logical, practical, maybe not but since when was logic always practical... the cherries you see above were part of a sushi dish, I'm not sure if they were merely garnish or if they were actually an intricate part of the dish itself, personally I don't care, they looked damn good and I thought they'd make a good photo on the black of the empty sushi dish, so there you go, out came the camera phone and the cherries were 'snapped' just prior to them being escorted to whatever untimely demise was in store for them by the waiter... Come to think of it my girlfriend may have 'demised' 2 of them in-between the 'snapping' and 'escorting away' episode, seems there was more practicality than logic after all...Anyhow, I will try an send 'impulsive' photos and comment as situations and mood allow, cheers.
